Folks,

Ishibashi Musical Instruments in Japan has some Ibanez replacement parts available. They have George Benson truss rod cover plates in stock, and they can order the entire pickup/pickguard assembly for the GB10 as well. Here's their e-mail address and URL:

web-shop@ishibashi.co.jp

There's some interesting "L.A. Custom Shop Designed" guitars on the home page right now. . .

Has anyone here ordered goods from overseas before, particularly from Japan (or even Ishibashi). They seem like a super company, but the huge unknown of shipping costs and taxes and duties is scary. Any advice or experiences?

hi there,

i once ordered an used ibanez RGR 620 from Ishibashi.
They are quite nice ppl and fast service!!!
I wired the money one day, the next day they shipped the guitar already, I received it not more than 5 days.
try to email them, ask for KOICHI, the international sales agent.
I spoke to him on the phone, he's a nice person.
