Hi there,

I don't know what Virus you are referring to since....

1. I use Yahoo eMail which scans for Viruses
2. I only send Jpegs and Gifs and never .exe files and
3. This computer has Norton AntiVirus and gets updated by my wife every other day.
4. I havent emailed you in over two months so any virus you may have got from "my name" could have been a virus that hit someones mailing list such as the worm virus in the past and executed email from a Outlook user.

Furthermore, I would ask you Spiro to investigate a little further into the matter to make sure you are protected and it hasn't come from another source and that others can stop the Virus. My wife did a virus scan last night and said that it was clean as usual. Since she is a web designer, it is important to keep this computer clean of viruses.

I would hope that you all continue to correspond with me. In the future, please bring it to my personal attention if you would, instead of posting an email and scaring all away.

Thank you.

Jerry

yes there is a virus that has infected someone,
in our ibanez world who has our email addresses
on most likely a microsoft outlook address list.
just last night i was also mistakenly blamed.
i would caution everyone to buy either norton
or mcafee and save yourself and countless others
from this hassle. also, as jerry has stated,
web based email such as yahoo, has so far eluded
the email virus circles. so get your computer
some medicine and lets get on with it.

Sorry Jerry, I didnt mean to upset you :(. I am just making sure that no one else gets infected from this virus your name was at the top of the emailso I assumed that it was you.. and that it would also do the rounds within our Ibanez community. Just some community service.. I do not blame viruses on anyone I just pointed out the fact that it has come from your Email address.. I am a systems manager and do understand the need to protect PC's from such hits.. My organisation does not use Exchange or Outlook but Lotus Domino so I cannot infect anybody with these types of viruses...

As i stated in my first post I am not blaming anyone just making sure that no one opens the attchment...I dont have everyones email address on this board so i decided to post here.

Again I am not blaming you Jerry i am just stating what I got...

It's definitely an e-mail worm. I've been getting messages all day from unfamiliar addresses. Again, don't open any suspect attachments!

Cheers

I'm new, but my home addy and another account I use has been bombarded with this thing. It's pretty nasty according to Symantec. rates a 4 on the Danger-o-meter..
