Anybody have the DVD of the '94 MTV Eagles concert where they did an acoustic version of Hotel California?

I'm trying to learn it, but the Eagles are not playing the chords in the first position the way my music book says. I've got the funky intro chords down. But Glen Frey is playing with a capo on the second fret. I can understand how he gets the Bm and F#, but where is he going to get the A, E, G and D? It doesn't look like he's moving too far away from the first position. Is he tuned differently or are there some inversions for these chords that I don't know about?

Don Felder on the other hand is constructing chords down by the 7th fret, and Joe Walsh is all over the board. But it's Glen Frey's chords I'm after.

Thanks

Hi Johns -

Do you have the program PowerTab? I have a tab of this song with Glen Frey's 12-string part done with a capo on the 2nd fret.

No. Is it available via the Net? I'd love to get the tab.

For the software:

For lots of powertab files:

This will keep you busy for a while.

John S -

I can't find the specific site that has the version I mentioned (it is from Hell Freezes Over), but I will be happy to e-mail it to you.

You might want to check out these sites for more tabs:

Have fun,
