Just posting about some DeArmond auctions I came across on ebay. For some reason, if you search "DeArmond" on ebay they don't show up, so maybe not many people know about them:

In any case, it's for a good cause, and the prices are a real bargain...

Not sure what everyone else thinks, but DeArmond guitars convinced me that Korean-made guitars were definitely worth the money, kind of how the old Westbury line (little known Japanese brand) first clued me in on Japanese guitars.

A friend of mine had a Custom S (the one w/ Dimarzios and varitone-style knob) many years ago. About a year and a half ago I stumbled upon a Custom while hitting a few guitar shops, and picked it up for a really good price. It's close to the Custom S but has mellower pickups and less body binding.
