Hi John!

A few weeks ago there was some big list posted on the board with comparing (high-low) prices of many Ibanez models. In what thread is it? I think it's hidden somewhere, but I don't know under what topic. I can't find it anymore (or is it still early....?).
Is it an idea to put this in a separate section, because I think many Ibaneezers like to check this list once in a while, when an auction pops up (you know....just to check if the price is right).
Cheers,
Harry

Laaz:

Thanks for helping Harry find the info.

I have to get with Russell to see how we can segregate this info and make it easier to update and search.

Thanx Laaz.
But unfortunately the model I was looking for is not listed.
Anybody familiar with fair and acceptable prices for the model 2457? That's a cherry ES 335 model with Vibrola-style tremolo with lyre inscription. Almost original condition. Changes seem to be non-optical (pot replacements and a mono output fitted instead of a stereo).
It was offered to me on this board for around $700.
I don't decide before I get the pictures of the real guitar, as was promised to me.

Hi Harry.
There is a site here http://www.guitareelectrique.com/argus_iba.html that lists the ibanez models & the current price range. It's in Euro's but should help out a bit.

Thanx again Laaz!
The Euro's are no problem....I live in the Netherlands, so.....
Some strange things I noticed: the 2457 is listed for 950 euro (high) and 700 (low), while the 2370 (also a 335-style, but far more common and of a lesser quality) is listed for 970 (high) and 750 (low).
I think such a list can be of help if you really don't have a clue in what price-range you should think, but eventually it's your own decision of how much money it's worth for you....But that's always the case, isn't it? It's not about "what does it cost" but mainly about "how bad do you want it".
Cheers,
Harry
