Can anyone tell me why Paul stanley stopped using the Iceman PS10???

more or less a money question, washburn offered him more money and more control on the specific model. With ibanez there were also the iceman models which almost looked the same like the PS-10 but were (in most of the cases) much cheaper
and as Paul did not have anything to do with it he did not get paid for it.
With the new washburn Paul designed it from ground up (although it looks like a cross between
on of his earlier Hamer guitars and a PS-10)
Paul bought up the remaining stock of the PS-10
and sold them directly so it was'nt a case of disliking the PS-10
It is a pitty because not only is the new washburn
quite uggly but the standard version is also more expensive than the most expensive version of the PS-10

hi,

i think there's more to it than just money. the reason why Frank Gambale & John Petucci, 2 of ibanez's most 'lethal' players, have parted ways with the company.
