The 1982 AR100 I just purchased arrived today... with a broken toggle selector (Arggh!). It'll need to be replaced, so does anyone know where I can buy one of these little dudes?

You can get them directly from Ibanez, although it won't be vintage. The pickup toggle for the AR3000 is sooooo nice and it should work for your guitar. It actually clicks into position. Nice touch.

Para:

I had exactly the same problem with my '82 AR112. I asked on the board for some help (http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/cgi-bin/discus/sho w.cgi?tpc=14&post=69010#POST69010) with a period correct switch.

I also ordered one from Hoshino Parts department. When I receive it, I'll post a message to let everyone know if there are any differences between the two.

Michael -- I didn't see parts offered for the AR3000 on the Ibanez parts site. I did see this selector switch available for an AR2000

http://www.ibanez.com/parts/2000_PARTS/El-Guitar/PARTS-PICT/3PS1C3WTG.htm#3PS1C3WTGhttp://www.ibanez.com/parts/2000_PARTS/El-Guitar/PARTS-PICT/3PS1C3WTG.htm#3PS1C3WTG

selector

I'm probably looking in the wrong place. If so, can you help me out? Thanks!

Johns -- I'm looking forward to hearing what unfolds in your switch replacement saga as well.

Artfield:

Yes, I got the package last week. Looks good! Thanks VERY much!

I'm holding off on putting it in until I get my "new" toggles from Ibanez and compare the two.

Are you having "fun in the sun"? :-)
