I wanted to ask the opinions of the ICW about a thumbwheel control for tone on the GB20. I ordered my replacement guard, and will be receiving that in a couple weeks. I love the stock look with one Sure Grip I knob, but I am thinking that I might want to have some control over the tone.

Has anyone ever installed one of these?

I had a thumbwheel 'stealth' tone control (potentiometer) professionally installed under the pickguard of a Heritage Sweet 16. Barely visible and works great. The only caveat is to make sure the mini-pot sounds right for your guitar. Mine took some trial and error until the right tone pot was found.

It should work equally fine on your beautiful GB20.
