I should say that I have recieved my brothers MC 500 Ibanez guitar and Fender Twin Reverb Amplifer . I have not seen or played the the guitar in almost 20 years and I must say , it has some heft to it . I am almost certain that it weighs more than my Starfire V ; which is , in my opion considerable. The guitar is being check out and played ,I am not certain the swiches my be working properly and if they are , are they . Sorry ,its just that I am a virgin when comes too playing something as so elierborate as this . I would like to get an owners manual , as to the proper care and ( most important ) the correct function of the onboard effects . I have no idea whats up as to the sound and tone that this guitar will give me . I have pretty much set the style and music into my other guitars and it took a long time . On ocasion I have broken things trying to set it up to the way I like to play . This guitar is old , I know nothing about it and I do not want to do something that might ruin the guitar ; its a keeper , I like the way it plays the effortless cord making and string bending . I am a big Wes Mongomery fan I like that style of playing and I think that this guitar will sound ( tonely ) differant than my Guild S300 and my Starfire V . So I need suggestions on how you guys go about setting up your guitars ( Ibanez ) to the way you like to play . This is my brothers guitar and I intend to keep it for the rest of my life , maybe jam on open mike nite and record alittle with it . I'm from Massachusetts , south of Boston in alittle town called Monponsett . I appreciate it .}
