Notice no one is bidding on that guitars at that price. I think its a tad bit high. My guess would be about 900-950 tops for an all-original 9+ cosmetic condition AR350.

Hi,

Yes I have a marine sunburst one. I replied to your other post about price. I reckon that that price (1140US) is about right over here in Australia but it depends on a bunch of things. I've seen AR300CS's with non-original pickups and a local pickup only sell for $700AUD ($500 US I guess) and another one in absolutely mint condition sell for $3200AUD (it was a friend's guitar). SE's don't come up much down here. I've only seen one and I bought it but paid well over a grand AUD.

I am contemplating selling it if anyone makes a serious offer. I have written an eBay listing but it is so beautiful that I can't bring myself to actually listing it. I'll have to sell another Roadstar plus a fair bit of other stuff to get the cash that I need instead.

Jimmys,

I agree that Australia is an entirely different market. I have seen some real weird price flucuations on eBay "down under". I guess the lack of volume of Ibanez guitars on eBay in Australia magnifies the "supply and demand pricing" equation.

That is one nice guitar you have there, and if I weren't in the States, I'd probably take her off your hands :-). However, I recently sent an AR150MS to a fellow ICW member in Australia and at the time he was really interested in a 350SE. I will drop him an email to see if he's still in the market.

It sounds like you're on the fence about selling it. If there's anyway you can swing keeping it, I'd suugest trying your best to do so. It really is too nice a guitar to let go.

Good luck,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff,

I have decided to sell some other stuff first now (just need a bit of cash for something right now) - things like a Roadstar II, a Digitech effects unit, a MIG welder and heaps of old Lancia Beta car bits! I guess that if I was made a really decent offer, I'd consider it. I am pretty sure it'd go for a great price if I did end up eBaying it. Yes, I'd probably regret it in the long run.

Thanks for your thoughts,
James
