Hi Juha

Cool ! Nice picture, its this your`s ?

This one is a unknown number 1968/69 Ibanez thinline beauty, the first series of this production (with the strato shape head stock).

I found 3 diffrent versions of this one in the last 10 years:

First version got the strato head shape, nailed ibz metal logo, white pickups rings, white scrathplate and a white colored controlplate. The neckplate was smaller size, only with the japan stamp. Built in 68/69.

The second version got the gibby shape headstock with nailed ibz metal logo, black pickup rings, black scrathplate and a chrome controlplate. The same neckplate as above. The trem unit was visually the same. Built in 69/70

the third version got a gibby shape headstock with a not underlined white ibanez decal and the same assembly as the second one. The controlplate was aviable in chrome and black version. The trem unit has visually changed again.

Value of this old lady:

I europe, the value goes down to a cheap price. Some are sold on ebay germany for 120 $ (Third version) My personal value for this one goes from 250 $ to 350 $ for a mint condition one.

Juha, is this one for sale ?

Take care

Hasy

No, this is not mine.
Yes, this is for sale with HSC, auction, starting bid 290 EUR, which I think is a bit high (- non original parts, + pics show decent condition). I could think I'd pay it shipped.

Juha
