I have serious doubts. Makes me think of Teisco, Kay, Kawai or Silvertone (fretboard inlay: 2 small blocks at the 12th fret).

Other suggestions welcome of course...
I'm still googleing for Barney Kessel / Trini Lopez copies, but I find different hardware all the time...

I have never seen this one before.

Hasy?

Have my doubts too.
Take a look at the picture of the headstock (click and see enlargement). To me this is a 100% fake logo. Besides: judging by the look of the guitar itīs made somewhere in the mid 60īs. At that time Ibanez used metal nailed-on logos only.

Harry, those were my thoughts exactly, that the logo looked faked and that it was not a nailed-on logo. But I wanted to get the expert opinions. Thanks!

Hi there !

Sorry, a FAKE one :-(

These decals are for sale in some auction sites here in switzerland too. 5 $ for a good printed not underlined ibanez logo like the one from the Jetking Models.

Also the backplate is not typical for this decade. No stamp on the plate ! (looks like a new one)

The parts looks like a teisco/conrad guitar of the late sixties. We knew, that teisco necks was used for the 2020THS and 2030THS in the late sixties (Production closed, sold for everyone ?)
but this one is not a lbanez.

Hasy
