What a lovely piece, Michael!
I remember having the opportunity to buy such a thing from the German vintage brand FRAMUS, I guess it was about 13 years ago at a pawn shop. Then it was 300 Dutch guilders (EUR 136,-).

Btw, did you know that the Framus factory in Bavaria has a Framus museum now? A real one and a virtual one on the web. And: they sell vintage parts for restorations.

If you look there you will see that the bridge on the Barney Kessel on eBay Austria (Bakelite[?] with white saddles) was probably a Framus part.

But man, 16 Kg... Make sure you've got steel reinforced industrial shoes, or Dutch wooden shoes.

Hi to all.

This old lab steel comes from the tokyo sound factory years in 1958-1961. A rare byrd.
