Any way to identify this body? I believe it was an RG series with a standard 6 post tremolo that someone converted for use with a tune-o-matic, and routed out. (originally had 2 humbuckers) The main question.. what type of neck does it accept?

Slomo, thats not a RG body, nor a EX nor a RX Series Ibanez body. Looks like who ever cut it had a bad hangover.
Also it has to many holes in the neck cavity, and none of the above mentioned models have a top of the body input jack.

Ibanez's policy is to only supply necks for their own brand guitars and not a "hobby" or build my own situation.

I would suggest maybe a box of matches and a tin of petrol.

By the time you buy all the bits and pieces then fill in all its holes that are not needed, youv'e probably spent more money than its worth. My Opinion only :-)

I must concur. This does not look like any Ibanez body I'm familiar with. Frankly, it looks like a homegrown creation

Oh it's a piece of of crap, I'm sure. But I'm on a mission to build the world's most atheticly crappy looking guitar. I'll add back on a tune-o-matic, screw a high gain humbucker in there, and add a volume pot ala van halen, with the huge cavity open and wires hanging out. Yes, I'm weird, and yes, I have real guitars including an Ibanez artwood accoustic. Someday maybe i'll get an ibanez electric too. I was curious, the guy said it was possibly and RG, and I'm wondering what kind of neck fits on this hunk of garbage. lol

Hey movingslomo.. I think one of the necks below will fit the neck pocket perfectly..

neck

But seriously, you may have to measure out the neck pocket.. And then try and figure out what scale the guitar is.. Maybe it is way too much trouble?
