Hey gang, yesterday whilst soughting through the goodies in our warehouse, I unearthed a N.O.S 2004 AR3000 VV. Now I know there are a few of you who had the hunger for one of these. So if you are interested in it, let me know.
Also on the same pallet was a AX1220 BB Prestige, the leather look as well.

The AR3000 VV is currently at Spiro's work Music City Petersham here in Sydney, when I told him what I had found he wanted it that night for its first day on display today (Saturday)

Geez, talk about Captain Ibanez home delivery service or what!
Have a great weekend everyone

Keep On Rockin'

Captain Ibanez :-)

Yo Cappy~
That's great news for the Aussie crowd. I'm sure it will sell fast.

I kept up a search for an AR3000 in the US and recently FOUND one! It was another 2004 stashed in a warehouse like the one you located. Best of all, the dealer wanted to move it quick...SOLD! For all I know it could be the last n.o.s. in the States. Absolutely an incredible guitar!!

Dear Captain,

Is Spiro working in that store where there is a small room for the higher end guitars and has a flat roof above that room where they used to display all the vintage guitars?

If yes, a few years ago I walked into this store and it had the most amazing collection of vintage Ibanez guitars and it was like walking back in time. Besides that it even had an original Fender Rosewood Tele!

Several months later I went back to the store and all the vintage stuff including the Ibanez were all gone!

Depending on who you spoke to, the staff told me that someone had walked in and wanted to buy all the Ibanez there was and this collector sold all his other guitars to purchase this collection.

I cannot confirm this story and did speak to Spiro once on this but it was definitely one of the largest collection of vintage Ibanez for sale in a single location that I have ever seen.

Spiro, perhaps you can shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Meranti

Hey Meranti!

Yes it is the same store that I manage now..

They did all get sold all at once. there probably was about 30-40 vintage ibanez at one stage.. Now I only have a couple.. But I do have about 60 new ibanez on display... from GB's AR3000 and all the prestige range... and soon to come a J.Custom!

We have about 350 guitars on display and are the biggest guitar store in Sydney..

so if anyone is in the area come down and have a look...

Congratulations Spiro and wish you all the best. The next time I am there I will definitely drop in at your store.

Have you ever met up with the Buyer of that collection? At that time I only managed to get a Studio double neck before it was all bought up.

Regards,

Meranti
