If you can help with any specifications or sources for parts like the screws for the sctrach plate or maybe a new Ibanez emblem... if there ever was one on the headstock

Not sure if you big on replicas or not, but with all the switching options available and wierdest looking humbuckers, to me I recon its more than just a "copy".

By the way I'm not selling it but you would be the best person to ask much it might be worth.

To be honest I'm just over the moon to say I now own a vintage Ibanez

Jnp,

It's a copy of a Les Paul Recording model - low impedence pickups, switching options and all. Is it a setneck or bolt on ?? I have an autographed photo of Les Paul playing a flametop LP with low impedence pickups... One thing for sure Les did something unusual to all his guitars.

BigMike, that particular guitar is a 1980 Les Paul Heritage Elite, with "some modifications"... :-)

Fox,

I'll try to scan it and dump it to my Photobucket account. I got the photo off eBay. It's a shot of Les and his band at some club Les is a reglar at in NYC. Les' rhythm player is holding a black Custom and Les has this monster LP with low impedence pickups, four knobs in a straight line. The top is GORGEOUS !!

Hi all!

Hey guys....back to the topic!
Jnp put in something about a guitar he bought and shows us some pictures.
He says he's "over the moon" to say he now owns a vintage Ibanez.
Hate to disappoint him and sure hope this will not make his landing on Earth too painful....But have a look at the headstock inlay, see control plate and switches.....THIS IS DEFINITELY NO IBANEZ!
It's Japanese allright and from the seventies too, but it's very doubtful to even say it could be Hoshino made.
What are your thoughts on this?

Kind greetz,
Harry

Doesn't the model number LE-200 look like an Aria number ?

Hey guys thanks for the responses,

I have no idea what this thing is. By about the 3rd of april I'd figured out that it wasnt Ibanez.

I initially bought it and took it to a used guitar dealer and he was the one that said it was intially Ibanez. A bit of searching showed me otherwise. Heres a picture of a Bucks & Ricket that a guy on the Bossarea forum found for me. But mine has a 4 bolt neck. So I'm stumped.

http://www.vintage-guitars.se/1970s_Bucks&Ricket_LP_Recording_copy.htm

My guitar has Maxon pickups and a plywood neck... I really am about to give up.

As for playing I dont know yet. It has a few wiring problems. which at this stage I think I can narrow down to the input jack plug.
