It is Ibanez doubleneck replica of the Gibson. This one ia also known as "The Lawsuit" 6/12. from the mid 70Žor so.
Do you know about this?
How many have been made of these beauties?
Or what is the estimated value(price)? is this one RARE?
And any other info please do tell...

Hi Turne, well as far as how many of the 6/12 twin neck law suit models were made....that info is no longer around sadly :-(
The most common model was the 2402 in Cherry finish, then in slightly lesser production was the 2402WH (white with gold hardware)and even lesser production was the 6/6 twin neck, sorry I don't have the model number for that in Cherry finish....these are a rare bird !They also made a 2404 model , this had a 4 string bass neck and 6 string guitar neck & was available in Cherry & White as well and a even rarer Walnut finish.
The guitars are made from a figured Birch top with Mahogany body & the neck is laminated birch with a Rosewood fingerboard. The pickups were Super 70's series.
As far as price goes, here in Australia, a mint condition 2402 would change hands for around $1,700 to $2,000
If the guitar you are looking at has no serial number on the headstock or on the neck plate, then it would have been made pre Sept.1975, as it was after this time Ibanez started to use serial numbers on all their models.

Hope this helps you

Captain Ibanez :-)

Turne,

Is this one you own or one you're looking to buy?

Value depends almost entirely upon condition.
