Hi Captain,

recently I purchased my first Semi-Acoustic, a beautiful '85 AM66. According to the serial numbers of guitars I saw on sale previously, this model seem to be made from 1983 to 1985 but I couldn't find anything about them in my catalogs. I read in another thread that the AM66 is probably the rarest model of the AM-Series...

Any info about these beauties would be much appreciated

Thanks for the link! Still need an answer to the big question: How many were made?

Hi Juergen, the total production for this model which was made in 1985 only was 124 units.

Wow! That number seems low! I have seen 5 on Ebay in the past 3-4 years. I have seen one AS400 in that same time period and there were more of those made.

Captain, were they made for the European market?? 4 of the 5 I have seen were listed in Europe. I bought one from a guy in Germany.

Hi Capt'n,

Is it possible to find the production numbers for the AM400's and AM300's? Thanks.
