I just bought what I believe to be a 1982 Ibanez Musician MC350 at a pawn shop. I had never heard of the Musician, but it played nicely and was pretty cheap. I am a little confused about the controls of the Musician. It has two volume knobs, two tone knobs(with push-pots), a three way selector switch and two tri-sound switches. I have read on other websites that the push-pots are for switching from humbucking to single coil modes, but I do not know how the tri-sound is supposed to work.

When you use certain combinations of the pick up selector and the tri-sound switches, there is no output at all. Other combinations are weak and thin sounding. The single coil selection of the neck pickup does not work at all.

Do you have a schematic for this guitar? I would also be interested in any other information that you have on this guitar.

Thank you,
