I have been told this is a rare Ibanez Artist AR350, a friend of mine said that ibanez only made 250 with this headstock, I cannot be sure, serial number I860383, any help would be great. YOU CAN VIEW THEM AT THIS ADDRESS:

What feature of this headstock makes it unique? It looks just like the heastocks on my 85 AR350 and my 82 AR300.

Jimmy:

The only thing special is the rosewood veneer, which I wouldn't have expected to see on your '82 AR300 (mine's black) but I would on the '86 AR350 (my '85 AR305 has it).

I think it has a rare form of iron oxide on the pickup and edge trem :)

It is a standard ar350 dude..

In dire need of a new edge tremolo system and a super 58 in the bridge...

that guitar has been butchered

schaller tuning pegs half the paint missing off the headstock back.

Needs alot of work to get it back to a nice playing condition..

Spiro,Johns or good ol´capt´n, could you please provide some info about that veneer.. Somewhere I have received info that aforementioned veneer was first user on the "Catch The Tiger"- editions of AR300 and AR500. As well as on the AR3000 and AR5000 of course... You can see such AR500 in the Artist-series thread, named as AR500 Tiger..
True or false??
BTW. sorry, off-topic..
