I have a 1983 that needs a pot replaced. Before I get into it I would like to have the correct value pot on hand. I have heard that it's at 500 ohm linear taper...

Bigroy. The pots are as follows

Volume : 500K G
Tone: 500k D

CAptain-Just courious-whats the difference between the "G" designation & the "D" designation ?-Is the Pot physically different ? I have always wondered......
