Looking for opinions from anyone who owns/has owned/played early blazers. I have a BL450 myself and have high regard for this guitar. Has anyone modified one in anyway and been happy with the result???

Mel Brooks added blazing saddles to his. Maybe he used it to write the songs for his hit musical.

I have a Blazer that I bought around 81 - 82...Don't know the model number....It is a trem model, in a nice slightly metal-flake red..Gold hardware..It has the basic Volume & Tone Pot, 5 way selector 3 Single coil pickips,Plus a small toggle, that I assume is a 'in or out of phase' selector ...To be truthful this was my guitar of choice for hundred of gigs up until very recently, I think this is a fantastic guitar, has a great sound all of its own, although 'Fendery', it has very powerful pickups, & a slightly more extended mid-range than a Fender.....I am just trying to find a good repaier locally to me to get a re-fret & replace the scratchplate, which has cracked around the screw holes near the output jack.....These are very underrated guitars, and for the money (£165.00 new) gave unrivalled value...I'd love another one if I could find one!
I haven't made any modifications to mine - always found it to be perfect just as it was...(Just like the wife!!!!!!!)
If i get the opportunity I'll post a pic & maybe someone can identify my particular model...
