Hey gang just thought you might want to have a look at some pics I took on my Nokia camera phone of the first ever Captain Ibanez Roadshow at Allans Music last weekend..sorry they are a bit grainy but hey one day I'll get a decent Digi camera.

At this point I must thank my good mate Mr Spiro for being the Captains trusty sidekick...mate your a ledgend !
It was tag team guitar set ups on both days, which was pretty interesting seeing as we had 1 trestle table, to do setups, display my entire archives, and our tool kits

Still it was great fun to see people queing up to get there Ibanezs checked over.

It was also good to meet Louis See, on the day, he also called by the office to day along with Rex Goh. Louis went through Rex's guitar collection last night and got some terrific pics of the very rare Rex Goh model Ibanez from the time he was lead guitarist in Air Supply..this is how Louis got hold of the Lee Ritenour prototype, thanks to Rex..lucky bugger
Stay tuned they will be here soon for all to see.

To all of the other people I met on the day, it was great to see you there, but don't think this was a once only thing ..no its coming to a Ibanez dealer near you soon :-)

So on display we had the following guitars for all to see.

Spiro's Rhinestone RG570
TC825 SB Talman 1997 model
RS1010 SL Steve Luthaker model
PS10 Paul Stanley Iceman
Jem 10th Anniversary model #519
AR500 Artist 1980 model
Ya Cappy's AR250 AHS PW 25th Anniversary model #17 of 25 only built
also my 83 Roadster II
and my 2005 AF105NT Artcore Custom
Silver Series Jazz Bass
Silver Series Ash Strat
MC940 DS Musician Bass
Axstar AXB60
Law Suite Les Paul copy...I'll let Spiro fill in the blanks on this one.

Anyhow, here's the pics..look forward to any feedback.

Snowyboy...now I name you after my son Blake who was born with snow white hair...so be privy my man!

Queensland will probably next year. I intend to take the Cappy's Roadshow around Aussie next year... mate it's all up to funding....but we all deserve a good day out and multiple drinks with ya O'l Cappy...but in saying that where were you when I was up there in 2003 when I was shaken harder than a hand job on Brissie Airport before the cyclone hit that night we packed up. not that you can get a hand job in Brissie for under 200 dollars.....sit qiuetly and you can here those on the other side of the big pond fall over head saying you pay that much for a Joyce on the quiet times in between the Indy Car on the Gold Coast?

In closing I will personally hit Brissvegas next year if not sooner for all to drool over ...and yes what my trusty side kick Mr Spiro & I have on display are for sale.

So look forward to seeeing you all in the Brisvegas area very soon

Promise I'll be at either Allans Music in Brissvegas preferabley at the new Academey Store in Spring Hill...more room to move there rather than the Queens Street Mall shop.

But yes I will be there as soon as I can..I would like to think before December...cause ya O'l Cappy is taking a holiday...yes 6 weeks holiday...yeeee haaaa !

But I would like to let my mates in South Australia, Western Australia, Tassie and the Northern Territory...the roadshow will be with ya soon...I'm working on it ok...keep the faith....and ...

Keep On Rockin'

Hey Cappy,

That good to hear, dude. I'll be looking foreward to it.
For me ther ain't gonna be no guitar slinging for a while after I broke a couple of ribs and a thumb chasing the sacrificial leather 'round the big oval yesterday. All I can do IS drool...Can't loan us 200 bucks can ya?

Dare I ask what this means? :-)

JNP, the good Cappy says he's coming over to see us.

"But I would like to let my mates in South Australia, Western Australia, Tassie and the Northern Territory...the roadshow will be with ya soon...I'm working on it ok"

Cappy, you've got two guys who'll be forming an orderly queue to see you when you drag your trailer full of guitars across the Nullarbor. :-)

Bluesmeister, the day is approaching very soon, though the box trailer full of classics I won't be dragging,I'd sooner hop on a plane and be there in a few hours and send the goodys a couple of days ahead of my arrival. When I have conformation dates I will post them on here for all the gang in Perth, but it will be advertised in your local music weekly media papers...I think it's callled Zebra over there. Its the same as Sydneys Drum Media newspaper which comes out every Wednesday morning.

So stay tuned and I look forward to the trip over there, it will be my first ever visit to Western Australia :-)

Concept Music would be a good place to hold the event. Smaller venue, but deffinitely a dedicated bunch of guys. (from outwards appearances)

Ps I ahve no affiliation with this company other than thats where I spend my money

Hi Cameron,

Make sure you give me advance warning for the Adelaide show! As you know, I have a pretty nice collection of Ibanez Oldies that I'd be keen to add to and help embellish your display.

Cheers,

Munch

JNP, yes they are a great bunch of guys at Concept.

Munch, no problems there, I'll let you know. I would say the first one would be at the Ibanez Centre at Brighton Nth. Dates are still being soughted for that one, so I will advise you when I'm coming over.Be good to have you along. :-)
