Like soooo many stories we've all heard before, I once purchased an beautiful Ibanez guitar that (when I was young and stupid) I ended up selling.

I'm trying to zero-in on exactly what model and configuration it was and would SO appreciate any help you (or anyone else for that matter)could give me in nailing this one down. Ultimately, I want to find and buy one of these if at all possible. Thanks!

Here is a photo that I took in 1979:

Thats not a musician at all Paradoxology, its an ARTIST Model # 2710...The 2700 series was a short lived nod to Alambic and "morphed" into the Musician series.

These guitars are somewhat rare as they were only produced for a few years ('77-early '80). These were made in the Dark Stain (like yours), Natural and Black. The series also had an EQ equiptd model the #2700...

There a is one currently on EBay and a member of this forum in Denmark is offering one for sale also...if you use the search function you can get tons of info on this model.

Hmmm. I had wondered about whether it was an Artist or not. I believe I've seen the one currently offered on eBay (#180093815606),but upon closer inspection noticed several differences: different head configuration, the double cutaways aren't matched on both sides, and the electronics are different. If I'm looking at the wrong item, and if you've got an extra minute, please post again with what item I should take a look at -- I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
