Ok I caved I wanted another 540s LTD but that’s out of my price range, I had a 540S LTD custom in desert yellow back in the early 90’s.

I have since cut my hair, Shaved the Mullet so instead of having an 80’s flash back I have decided to go with a jewel blue S470 I got on e-bay for $275.00 (with Ibanez hard shell case) from what I have seen is very compatible to the 540S with a lower price.

My guitar playing ability isn’t really that good I’m actually a bassist and just like a guitar around to screw off with. Bass of choice Ibanez SG1000

I think I got a good deal at $275.00 it was actually a second chance offer I lost it to someone that bid $390.00 put couldn’t out there money where there mouth was, from what I have seen these go for about $479.00 on line new but they only come in Black…

Does Ibanez put out different colors different years? Did I get a good deal or should I have held off?

Is it Japanese or Korean? Either way, that's a low price if it's in good condition. The blue ones are beautiful - I've wanted one ever since I saw Scott Henderson playing one back in '92. You can look at the catalogs at ibanezrules.com for more info on color etc.

I'm a guitar player, but I have my sights set on the new Burled Poplar Soundgear Bass :-)
