I found an old Ibanez in a pawn shop, but I'm not exactly what it is. From what I can tell it's a 1992 RG, but I'm not sure of the model. It has a bolt on neck with a back plate and the pickups are V7/S1/V8. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get the serial number? There are only three guitars that come close: 1) an '89 RG570, a '92 RG570, and 3) a '93 RG470.

All have H/S/H with black headstock. However the '89 RG570 doesn't show V7/S1/V8 pickups and the turquoise finish was not shown. The '92 RG570 has the right pickups, but the headstock should match the body color. The '93 RG470 has the correct pickups, body color and black headstock.

The '89 RG570 has an Edge trem. The '93 RG570 has the Lo-Pro Edge trem. The '93 RG470 has the Edge trem. From the pictures (not the clearest) I'd say your's has the Edge trem. So the serial number should help narrow down what year. BTW, are you in the US or another part of the world? Everything I've stated applies to U.S. guitars.
