I am the proud owner of a 1977 Ibanez Artist 2604 that my Dad just gave me. He bought it new when I was young. This is a guitar that I played every day when I was growing up and now it's mine! I was wondering if there is anyone here that can tell me what the value of this guitar is, or how I can find out what the value is? Also, I would like to install a modern Preamp/EQ and pcikup into the side of the guitar and was wandering how that would effect the value of the instument?

Thanks for any input you may have.

A 77 2604 would START in the 500-600 dollar range, easy.

Please DO NOT cut a hole in the side of that guitar. PLEASE. You will absolutely affect the value of it.
