Its called Starfield VT-50.I can not find ANY info on the net about. And the I hoped you could help me with what info you might have about it. When were they build, why did they stop prodution(its a good amp) etc. Thank you and have fun. This Project was not part of the Hoshino USA destribution, because Tom Tananka our President at the time did not want to make two seperate lines, He wanted just Ibanez, Joe Hoshino In Japan wanted a seperate line called Starfield, So the Starfield project was handled through the Hoshino West Coast office. This was Chris Kelly, Mace Baily and Mike Lipe. Mace flew to Japan and came down with Chicken pox the firest day, He was locked away in a Japanese hosptal for 10 days and then sent home. Funny story but poor Mace missed out on all that party time in Japan, Trust me teh Japanese can out drink just about anyone. I treied to get the link but could not get anything from the web site. My english isnt the best , so there might some other " hidden" infoformation I didnt pick up on. Anyway..thank you. For your interest: There is a Starfield Catalogue up on the Meinl site: www.musik-meinl.de Go to Service-Download; click Katalog Archiv; Ibanez Elektronik and find the year 1988: Starfield Road Amp, obvisiously built in GB. Awesome amp. Buy it if you come across it.
