Hello, I was given an Ibanez solid body,10 years ago. I would like to sell this guitar, but there is no name of model, just a serial number F307746, and made in Japan. Is there anyone who can inform me about the argus and the name of this guitar. I can send photos if necessary.

Fugi built 1993 from the serial, but we're gonna need a detailed description or photos for an ID.

See "Formatting" under "Utilities" at left for instruction on posting photos.

Or, e-mail 'em to me and I'll post 'em for ya.

Depending on which 1993 catalog you look at, it's an an RV470GFP (USA printing) or an R335GFSVS (Japan printing).

Anybody got ideas on market value?

You were warm, Bear!
It's an R355GFSVS. (typo I guess).
Nice colour: See Through Violet Sunburst.
In this catalogue is a description and picture of the guitar and of the colour SVS.

The F means that is was made in the Fuji Gen factory. So, that's good.
It's not in the USA pricelist.
I still have the Dutch 1993 pricelist here: it was ƒ1695.-
That would be €769.15
Second hand value between 1/2 and 2/3 so between €384.75 and €512.77 (depends on the condition).

Do you ever bother to READ somebody else post before you stick your nose into a thread?

Cut and pasted from my 2 previous posts:

"Depending on which 1993 catalog you look at, it's an an RV470GFP (USA printing) or an R335GFSVS (Japan printing).

Where's the "typo"?

"Fugi built 1993 from the serial,"

I thought that was pretty clear.

I guessing '335' vs '355'?

I guess I screwed the pooch.

I tend to use the RV470 designation for these since that's what the USA printing shows.
