for some reason, ever since i got it, my '78 musician
wont pickup the high E string as loudly as the other strings. otherwise the pickups are nice and hot. i can plug straight into the low impedance jack of my practice amp with a long chord and it still comes through well.
i've tried adjusting the pickup height with no luck,
and again, it seems isolated to the high E.
if the pickups were cracked inside or something they wouldn't work at all, right?
any ideas?
also is there any good sources for parts other than e-bay?
