I have been told this is a rare Ibanez Artist AR350, a friend of mine said that ibanez only made 250 with this headstock, I cannot be sure, serial number I860383, any help would be great. YOU CAN VIEW THEM AT THIS ADDRESS:

Actually That is a stock AR350, they made two versions, the first had the Prorocker on it that was in 1985 in 1986 the AR350 was upgraded to an Edge tremolo that you have, This also changed the top lock on the two models.

The guitars were not cheap (because of the dollar to yen exchage rate)

I only remember seeing the Pearl White and the Transparent Blue but the production records state they also made a Fire red one.

In 1986 they made

AR350PLT 176
AR350MST 63
AR350FRT 20

in 1987 they made
AR350PLT 62
AR350MST 22
AR350FRT 11

They did not make any in 1988

So that is it,

Very limited piece

Very nice guitar. I think most players like the stoptail model better than the locking tremelo.

I think it's rather arrogant of you to decide what "most players" like.

I just bought this baby yesterday. I haven't picked it up yet (it's 800 Kilometers from home). It's a AR500FR. I was told by the owner that she is real nice and real heavy. Can't wait!!!

Tell me what you think. From what Jim said there's only 48 made in 85 and 4 in 84. 52 in all. Can this be true????
