Pity about the Bigsby...JD was this one you created whilst sleep walking O'l mate ? Is this a modern day "law suite" model whilst taking your name in vain ?...Where's Judge Mills Lane when ya need him..."lets get it on" ( gravel type voice )LOL

Yet another interesting one. Hardcore Jazzers must be writhing over the "damage" done to such a fine instrument. On the other hand Chris Isaaks is probably figuring out his high bid as we speak. :)

If we knew who the seller was, it would help answer a lot of questions.

That sort of sticnks, Yes I made that guitar, It is in the Bluebook of guitars, I made it for teh 1994 name show and it was displayed, George Benson Played it for a few monuted but the Bigsby really flipped him out,

There was no Damage and it was a GB5 I made not a production one, For Namm that year I made seven customs in 3 weeks just to display, If you every sprayed metal flake it sure is a mess, What i used on this was House Of Color brand Black Sparkle,

Man that was alot of work on that bad boy, I even modified an old GB20 Case, After all was said and done I gave it to Kirby Kelly in Texas, He is a great slide player, One of teh besy I have seen he uses slides on all hid fingers,

There were two problems with it, The inaly was done on the fretboard before I glued it on so I was not happy with the fretboard consition, It did play like a motherm I put Dunlop 6105's in it and it just sang. There is also a pice of tooth pick in the poly on the headstock, I forget why but some reason it was in there,

That guitar was a rush Job I did in about 2 weeks for the show, But it is one of a kind.

Actually I used a Roller Bridge from ABM and the Bigsby works great on it. I also mounted the bridge in the two Cross braces.

Oh well maybe I will live forever.

That guitar is incredible. Great work on building it! Do they still have aluminum flight cases kicking around in the factory somewhere?
