Hi, i'm new here
i recently bought a fretless silver series precision. Seems to be original fretless, not a defretted one. serial number= f782190. Some previous owner painted the body and pickguard black in a horrible way, so i have to refinish. I think it was originally white with a red tortoise pickguard. Does anyone know if these colours are correct? Is this fretless precision rare?- fretless seems to me to be more of a 'jazzbass' thing. The knobs are also not original; they are white strat-style knobs instead of metal cylinder type.
