Does anyone know much or anything about the SR2000 bass with AFR P and AFR J pickups? I'm curious when (what years) and where (country of origin) this model was made and for what types of music people used them.

Wildfield~I believe Japanese SR2000's began back in 1988 with a neck through model 'SR2000E' and continued in various forms through 1993. If others have more information, please feel free to chime in.

Here are the specs of the 92/'93 model:

Thank you for the information and sorry for my typo in the topic field.

I saw one on e-Bay that I was attempting to buy. It sold for what looks like a very reasonable price. I bid too low. From what I can tell, that is a very nice bass.
