Not sure I understand...who is YESISBEST? I know he often bids on Ibanez guitars. Currently, the reserve has not been met.

Hi Michael:

Didn't mean to detract from the thread. That is a cool bass-- no doubt about it. I'd love to have it. Thank you for sharing the link.

About the bidder-- I don't want to blow his cover. Let's just say that he gets what he wants. He has outbid me on many an occasion. I am sure there are many here who'd tell you the same. Well, I am sure they're going to a good home/museum.

Just read the hints:
"Let's just say that he gets what he wants. He has outbid me on many an occasion. I am sure there are many here who'd tell you the same. Well, I am sure they're going to a good home/museum."
And he's USA.
It must be Orval, he outbid them all, including Dave_G on the 2674 and he has a virtual museum.
Just keep watching his website and wait until it pops up.

Now I'm going to take a good night rest and warm Mrs Columbo's feet... She'll be wondering what took me so long.

Eat your heart out, Peter Falk

Here's one where we definitely know the bidder and he gets what he wants...

I say let Eddie VH buy it-- don't bid on it. He's probably getting all nostalgic for his ole Ibanez Korina. But he needs to promise he's not going to hack this one up like the last one, and he's got to promise it in writing, right here on this site in this thread. If not, the guitar is anyone's.

Cool Dave! That'd be number two wouldn't it? I am still in the market for one.

Paul,
if Dave_g says he's not the bidder, he isn't. His User ID is luggage4le$$. He's a luggage specialist.
Orval is the only one who outbid Dave_g I know of (on the 2674).

Yes, I had it all wrong...
Mrs. Columbo's feet were already warm,
and so was the rest of her...

If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled.

Which means:

Guys...Yesisbest does bid on Ibanez guitars often, but according to our vry own John S, IS NOT a member of ICW, at least not using the name the is officially attached to the "yesisbest" moniker....but as you know, ya never know in cyberspace who's who REALLY.........

As far as the auction being "cancelled"...My bet is that -whom ever really wanted that guitar-cut a deal with the seller and got it.......

Ginger,

I know it is not Dave but you wrote it MUST be Orval and I have my reasons to disagree on that call.

To all:

I don't know who Yesisbest is. But I do know Dave_G and Orval and they are not he/she/it. :-)

Paul,
I also wrote, I had it all wrong...
(and that Mrs. Columbo's feet were already warm...)

You take me more seriously than I do myself.

I wonder how Mrs. Columbo's feet will be tonight...
