I bought a '95 SR1200 4 string Bass today, wasn't planning on buying one but saw one for an unbelievable Aud$425 w/OHSC so I jumped on it to have a play with.I was wondering if anyone out there has one, and what they think of them.
I must say that I am impressed with the build quality and finish.This one has a translucent amber type finish and is a neck through design.
Beautifully contoured body and gorgeous layered neck.AFR P+J active pckups.

I would be interested to find out what type of wood is used in the body, looks like a figured maple cap over some other type of wood.Apart from some tarnish of the gold hardware it is in excellent condition.
