it has no brand on the headstock and a mate of mine said it might be a ibanez, it's a hofner copy. Can anybody help?

I'm guessing Smidge that you must be Glen from Musgroves Music. The fact that you asked me about your Dad's Hofner replica bass yesterday is too co-incidental.

If that thread doesn't help you, post as much info about the guitar as you can. Post a photo of it also if possible.
