I recently saw an unbranded plexi bass that I assume is an ibanez. Does anyone know how I would check to see if it was. Any idea of what the price on something like it would be?

Hi JP
You might tell it's an Ibanez by the position of the two chrome-boxed pickups. See for picture http://www.ibanez-vintage-page.de (hope it works, because it's under reconstruction). Ibanez plexi's had no brand name in 1970. I myself have a plexi guitar with no brand name on it, but it's for sure an Ibanez. Are you interested in that bass? If not: I sure am !!!!!!! Let me now, will you?

Harry email me at \mail{jp11801@home.com,jp11801@home.com}} I am going to the shop tomorrow morning, what do you think is a fair price for the instrument? I am also going to go looking at an iceman/artist that has an exposed triple coil in the bridge and a dual coil up front the dual has the dust cover surround that I saw on the custom agent on another site but I can't find the instrument listed anywhere. If I do not buy them I will give you first crack at them. Where are you located I am in the US west coast

Hi JP
Thanks for the offer to "chase" for me. Pity it turned out not to be an Ibanez. What features on the instrument gave you that conclusion?
