Evenin' all.

I recently got a fretless 5 string roadstar, lined fretboard. I've been totally unable to find any info on such a model online, infact I've onlybeen able to find one article on a 5 string roadstar amongst the millions of webpagwes out there.

This has made me ask whether or not the bass is as it was born in the factory or if infact its been modded to be fretless (ie new fretboard, this has not been defretted in my view).

Thanks a lot for any help! U've pics available,

Yoshi:

I'll check my 1996 catalog tonight and see what looks similar.

Yoshi:

It's a little difficult to see the details of your bass froom the pictures on the TalkBass site.

So, I'm guessing somewhat that the closest bass from the 1998 catalog to your's is the SR405.

The arrangement of the tuners are absolutely consistent with the layout of the SR405 shown (the 2 outside are very close to the 3 inside strings).

The only detail that is hard to see on the catalog photo is the shape of the fretboard end. I can't tell if it's an angle or just has a slight curve. What is your's? A closeup of the fretboard end, top of headstock and the pickups might help confirm that it's an SR405.
