hello everybody!

I'm new here and i've just bought my frst bass! :-)
But... impossible to know the model (just to know how good it is and if i was not ripped off... though it sounds really good to me!)

It's a 4 string bass with 4 controls and natural wood color.

so here is the serial : F98 12450 Japan
I guess it was made in 1998 but that's all i can figure out!

Looks like a '98 SR1010. Looks like a very nice bass to me.

Thanks for your reply! :-) you're right it looks like the Sr1010, apart from the line out plug...
Must be a detail (i bought it in france)

It's got a name now!!! :-)

I didn't notice the input jack difference. Nor the fact that your's is certainly not made of mahogany, but ash. Then there's the lack of the inlaid fret marker on the 24th fret. It now appears yours is closer to the SR800, but with a different pickup configuration. However, it doesn't match the US catalogs for '98 or '99.
