But... impossible to know the model (just to know how good it is and if i was not ripped off... though it sounds really good to me!) It's a 4 string bass with 4 controls and natural wood color. so here is the serial : F98 12450 Japan I guess it was made in 1998 but that's all i can figure out! Here is 2 pics (hope it works) Thanks for your help and for your forum. If any of you has or had this bass, feel free to give your comments or tips! Bye! Nor the fact that your's is certainly not made of mahogany, but ash. Then there's the lack of the inlaid fret marker on the 24th fret. It now appears yours is closer to the SR800, but with a different pickup configuration. However, it doesn't match the US catalogs for '98 or '99.
