Hi

I friend of mine has this old Ibanez and he want's to make it original, or at least more original looking.
The bridge is changed to a tuneomatic type, but we think is should be a woodtype. A good closeup picture of the bridge would help a lot in solving this case.

Thanks
David

Don't know if this helps.
From various sources I found some pictures of 481/82/83 models.
The bridges seems to be the same.
Hasy will know better.

Hi David

Hi Telstar - Thx for the pictures - your a good help !

These original bridges are hard to find, ....so hard to find. You can choose a new one (ginger can help you, where to find the online shops), but please please, dont drill a second or thrid hole in the wood :-(

Most of the hardly used 48x models lost her original bridge, remove the stings ... @!## pling ...... never seen again :-(

Have fun

Hasy

Thanks, those pictures did shure help a lot!
It looks like two different bridges put together, one woody jazztype and some "cheap" sheet metal type.
Lets see if someone can give a hint were to find a replacement.

Thanks again
/David
