Hi I'm Peter and I live in Denmark, Scandinavia.
I own a st-300 nt, i bought her in 1989, when I was 16.
That st-300 has seen alot of gigs since then.  Smiley
Serialnumber is b796919, so I've found out its made in february 1979 and its the 6919'th guitar made that month.
I actually didnt know that st-300's were sold at those prices I've seen on ebay.
I've only been researcing my axe a couple of days.
So now I'll spend a few days reading about "my precious" in this great forum !!
How many st-300's were actually build ?
From what I've read so far, it seems st-300's were build 1978 -1980 (or is it 1979 - 1980 ?).

Specs of your precious

http://www.ibanez.ru/info/catalog/1979/03.jpg

More info you may find here on ICW and by googling "vintage ibanez" and of course "ibanez st 300".

Beware, bad GAS contagion going around here, may cause buying many vintage Ibanezes you never thought you need  Grin

Nice guitar. 1978 looks to be the beginning of the series. It's not an exact science. Sometimes they'll slip a couple of units in from the year previous to the release year. I'm sure there are enough owners in the forum that will let you know for sure.
