Hi, People,
and Hi, BC Wink

today I read in the Tama forum that a member has to sale a Tama 3563 Renaissance.
I know, BC, you have already 2 of them.
But perhaps somebody else interested?

Here is the text of the offer:
Guess it's just a matter of too many cases in the house but I've decided to sell the 3563!! Have photos available if anyone is interested:
kirksuttell@msn.com It's a nice guitar with the original case and a piezo pickup. I replaced the saddle and have got the action down pretty good.
Be happy to give more info to anyone interested. Kirk

And here is the picture of this guitar:

May be somebody will be happy with her... Roll Eyes

Hi Manni  Grin

I tried contacting this seller but I have not heard back from him.  Undecided

Perhaps he is on holiday? Or could he have sold it? I'm not trying to buy it - I think - but I was more curious as to asking price, and I just wanted to see some pics, maybe find out more about the piezo he put in it too.

At any rate - this is the Mother of ALL Tamas if anyone is interested.

Okay friends - this is the rare chance to get hold of a very rare 3563 Renaissance Ebay Item Number # 110273902665.

Looks like it's fairly clean but the pics really could be better.

Just like it was back in the '70s - think Martin D-45 except with a vine, a way more affordable price, and with 32 to 34 years of aging right out of the case. The market is arguably soft right now - so this one may turn out to be a sweet deal. All solid wood construction - spruce top, matched Indian rosewood back & sides, ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck. If the nut and saddle are original - they're genuine ivory.

I have one of these and all I can tell you is I treasure it like I treasure my Scruggs, MC500, and my Artwood Twin - this is arguably THE pinnacle of Hoshino acoustic guitar building and this model just doesn't come up all that often. Definitely worth your consideration if you've ever wanted a truly high end acoustic.

Frankly, I'm not above wanting to own two - so never mind.  Grin

And if the 3563 seems too ambitious - there's always the 3561 Ebay Item Number # 370071940907  Wink

I may just have to go for this one so I can compare it to my Martin Wink.

I sincerely doubt you'd regret it Patrick.  Smiley

The only thing cooler than having a high end acoustic is having two Wink

If it doesn't work out, I'll have to get a plane ticket to Denver to do a comparison Grin.

I'm ready when you are Smiley

Neale and I never did get together to compare my Tama to his Taylor. He's back in LA getting ready for his next tour.
