It's now Joey Molland's Badfinger. He's my neighbor. I think it's just him and a house band for the hippi-fest. He joined badfinger later, although he's on most of their LP's. If you go to the show post a review.

Joey Molland is right. He shouldn't even be using the name Badfinger at all but he does. Look him on on youtube Bob and see how lousy he does the songs in my opinion. But he is who he is. On the other hand check out Bob Jackson on youtube. The guy who took his place. Joey no doubt was a very talented songwriter and guitarist but he turned on Tommy Evans and Pete Ham. Even stopped Tommy and Pete from getting the rotyalties for the famed song Without You which he never wrote but sued for money anyhow.

Sounds like the band Foghat, where Lonesome Dave and Rod Price are both dead, but the band still tours. I don't begrudge anyone from making a living, but at some point it becomes, well, pointless.

Now that's an interesting conumdrum, at what point should you stop using the original band's name? Take The Who, for example, only two of the original members, yet they still tour as The Who.

The Beach Boys, well there are three regular members left, each touring seperately, so who's entitled to use the Beach Boys' name?

10cc split up years ago, following the departure of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, however, Eric Stewart and Graeme Gouldman continued using the 10cc name. Eric Stewart then retired from touring and Graeme Gouldman alone tours calling his band '10cc featuring Graham Gouldman and Friends'.

Here in Downunderland, three of the original founding members of The Little River Band were prevented from using the LRB name when they re-formed a few years ago. The band has had innumerable changes in personnel over the years, so it's not surprising that there is confusion as to who owns the rights to the name.

Just look at Pink Floyd and their argument over who can display the "Pig".
