Theres an article in the guitar magazine - Guitarist: The Guitar Players Bible - on The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning.

Something I thought was pretty cool was the first picture you see of him. He is playing an Ibanez Destroyer. I thought it interesting that a guitarist playing with a successful band was using an old Ibanez.

Don't forget Mike McCready of Pearl Jam playing a 2387CT. Wink

What I thought interesting was: such a young guitarist who could probably have the pick of almost any guitar would still choose to use an old Ibanez to perform with.

I would venture to say that if more artists experienced the quality and performance of vintage Ibanez guitars they would be inclined to use them. I realize there are those that are label snobs but it probably boils down to ignorance of the product.

Having owned two very nice examples of this model, I can attest to their inherent wonderfulness. Far superior to any Gibson re-issue I've ever played.

I would also imagine that some of these musicians endorse OTHER guitar makers and cannot use another brand on stage...
