challenger basses

hi guys,
   i just picked up a F77 challenger P-bass. this is the irst one i've ever seen.  i've seen 2 silver series P's and a jazz bass. but this is my first challenger...anybody else seen one or own one? i know they only made them about a year.

Yes, I´ve seen them just a few times on Ebay, but never "live" (probably because I´m in Europe and as far as I know the "Challenger" series were only made for US market). The Challenger Precision copies had the model number 2566.
Until now I´ve "discovered" 4 different finishes: the 2566 Sunburst, the 2566 Black, the 2566 Ash and the 2566 White.
The Challenger series appeared in 1977 and were only in production for about one year.
