I've been trying to find out what model Ibanez my wife has, but the serial number is of little help.  Here are some pictures:

Serial

Mother of Pearl inlay dots on neck

Pickups

Bridge

Any help would be vastly appreciated.

The serial will date the guitar, then you can check out online catalogs for a match. What's the serial?

Catalogs are here:

Saw the picture with the serial number. It was made in 1994. Closest thing I can find in the '94 catalog is the S540, but it has a label inlayed at the end of the neck, which yours doesn't have:

I guess there's an outside chance it's also an S470.

I remember that guitar pretty well as being part of a special deal thru either
Guitar Center or musicians friend being some kind of limited edition color version
of that guitar - the color really was different from just about any other guitar
in the store and the ladies seemed to like it a lot.

Beautiful guitar that's for sure.  It definetely is an S but what I'm not sure.

I had a S540 in that finish that looked identical to your guitar except mine had an F serial # and a custom made inlay on the fretboard.

I have that same guitar. It's a '97 S540. Your serial number is very odd however. It doesn't look like an Ibanez serial number. Otherwise, the neck looks genuine though.
