Congrats. The AM103BM is a great guitar. I seriously considered one of these and if I didn't have two AM's already, I probably would have bought one.

Juha...

That is one stunner of a guitar.

I am envious...to say the least.

That looks like it came from a high end custom shop.

Thanks,

Only store I know they were available

http://www.musik-schmidt.de/products/gb/Electric-Guitars/Semi-Acoustics/Ibanez-AM-103-BM-ABR-Artcore-CST-African-Brown.html

She has the same quality as other Artcore Customs and the same special features as other "limited editions" of them.
Frets are rather small and she needs better and a bit thicker strings (from 10 to 11?). Nicely set up, low action and good intonation. Sound is close to my AS103 but then again somehow different, have to play more to tell more.
Most surprising thing is that I am not at all better player though I have a new guitar.  Grin

Still looking for AS200, AM205 etc in decent shape for decent price.

All "limited edition" Artcore Customs and AF125s have wooden bindings, pickuprings etc

Here is my AS103SM-NT

I saw one of these exact models (AM103BM-ABR) in person at Guitars on Broadway in Denver just a few weeks ago on Oct. 30th.  He had a really nice selection of Ibanez.  Including a AM 103 NT as well.

Talked with the guy for a few minutes and to be honest, was not digging his attitude.  He had a great affinity for modern Ibanez but talked down on the vintage ibanez (as though he had no idea what he was talking about).  His take was that Fender and Gibson and a few select other brands were the only worthy vintage brands.  He came off brash and a know it all.  But had no idea what a 2622 or a MC400 was.  It was too bad, I left disappointed.  When I saw his selection, I thought he was going to be a different type of guitar guy.  Oh well.

And I have no idea why I am promoting his store, except that one of you may want one of these guitars.  Good luck.

If you guys are looking for one, contact Chesbro. They are the ones who distributed it, which also why they are hard to find.

Well, unless anyone has an AM205, or AM255 they are looking to move... These look quite appealing.

If there are not any in the States, is there anyone in Europe that may want to help? I contacted the company that Juha listed, and they do not ship to the US.

AM103 NT as well? It keeps getting more interesting!

Playback-Europe may have them. They have right name and specs on their French web page but picture is wrong (AS103BM-ABR). I guess they sell only to European (EU?) countries.

http://guitare.playback.fr/produits.php?prodid=50091

Here it is on their English page, AS pic and specs, lower price

I think I got the last one Musik Schmidt had. Looked like had been hanging in their store gathering dust.
