Ebay Item Number #270272958566

But he's coming to his senses about his hot rod guitar that does not pass the smog test.

I am surprised he does not reverse the mods and bring it back to stock...and sell the extraneous parts separately.

That would fetch more money.

Maybe he does not have all the parts or there would be too many extra screw holes.

But his ad makes it sound like it would be so easy.

Hmmmmm......

I bet he's trying to get his money out of it.  Also, I would guess he is hiding the original bridge holes under the metal plate (located between the wood bridge and bridge pickup).

Also, poor photos do not help any serious buyer, or us lookers.  It could be an interesting 'project' guitar, but too many red flags for me.

I think you're close...

I think the wooden floating bridge covers the original metal bridge holes....and the plate covers the hard tail stud holes.

I saw a Barrington 335 style where the seller had done a similar change.

On that one, he had removed the hard tail, and installed a Bigsby...and a metal plate like the one above covered the original hard tail stud holes.

It was tastefully done...but he was honest and stated it could not be 100% reversed without leaving obvious traces.
