Probably because most people see the structural similarity between a 2355m and this. Morris is imported into the US by Moridaria of Japan. Most of the folks out there think Ibanez is a manufacturer, not a brand. I didnt, and Ive been around guitars 30 odd years. I own a 2370 with no name on the headstock that looks and sounds identical to a buddys Ibanez. It even has a fujigen serial number. Its confusing if you dont know the story. Wink

Its a good guide, Ive read it twice since Ive been in the group. However given the number of auctions that still pop up this way, you would think that print is truly dead. Best thing to do is do exactly what you did with me...call em on it, make them aware. The smart ones will learn, spread the word, the a@@holes will either stop or continue on their merry way. Such are the ways of Ebay.

Here's something funny (or sad, depending on your P.O.V.). Here's my guide, and look at the two ads to the right of it.

Why do people do this?

Because they think that mentioning Ibanez...even for a guitar not even remotely related to Ibanez...that they will get more money for it.

People who do this are either ignorant or downright dishonest.

Most of these jerk sellers are far from confused...

They know what they're doing.

There was one moron seller on Ebay...who called an FG100...a lawsuit copy...and got 1800 for the guitar.   And the @!## buyer, left him positive feedback...thinking he got a great deal..

I also watched that seller buy that guitar on Ebay for about 1000.

PT Barnum was right.
